So last time I told you about how to fix your Xbox if your Xbox keeps freezing on you. Most times if your Xbox 360 keeps freezing it is because it overheats. So turning it off and then keeping it off the carpet and blowing cool air on it will help fix ring of death.

Now with my Xbox, this bought me several weeks of extra play, but after a while, my Xbox keeps freezing and I couldn’t get it to come back to life. So I searched all over the net for information to help with the 360 ring of death fix. Finally I found this amazing program that helped guide me through making the necessary fixes and finally figure out how to fix the red ring of death. There are video tutorials to follow along with which really help. So if after a while your Xbox continues to give you 3 red lights or even if you get 2 red lights 360 you can fix it, and you can fix it yourself with a little bit of time and not much money. So check it out.

Click here to check out this program to help you fix your own Xbox quickly.

Anyway, so now I want to show you not so much how to deal with a red flashing Xbox 360 but how to get a scratched Xbox game back to working right again. So let’s get straight to it.

These are the things that you will need to get your game working just like new again. Eye glasses polishing cloth, car wax and a window cleaner. You’ll also need a soft bristled paint brush. Probably as thick as your thumb and make sure it feels nice and soft. This should not be a used paint brush that you’ve used to paint stuff with. It’s worth it to spend a few bucks to get a new paint brush that you’ll use just for your Xbox 360 games.

Now this is not about how to repair rrod or repair center Xbox. In fact, if your game CD is not working you probably won’t get any Xbox red lights not even Xbox one red light. But I figured that most of you guys will get a scratched Xbox game at one point or you’ll scratch it yourselves and need a quick fix. This Xbox game fix will literally work 99 times out of 100.

So as mentioned before, if your Xbox keeps freezing, check out the program I recommend. If your game is scratched, let’s get to fixing it.

Sometimes just brushing it in a circular fashion with the paint brush like the cops do when looking for fingerprints will be enough to fix your game. Try this first, put the game back in your Xbox 360 and see if it works. If not, let’s take it a step further.

Now take the polishing cloth and apply a little bit of glass cleaner to it and wipe the Xbox CD from the center outwards in a straight motion. You definitely don’t want to use a circular motion with this. Now like I said, if your Xbox keeps freezing, this is not the problem, this will only fix the CD.

If the glass cleaner doesn’t work it’s time to ramp up our game, bring out the A players. This is wax. So apply a little bit of car wax to the Xbox 360 game CD, any wax will do. Now using the same motion wipe outwards from the center in a straight line. No Mr. Miyagi waxing on and waxing off. The car wax will help fill in any minor scratches.

If your Xbox keeps freezing, get the program I told you about. If your Xbox 360 game CD still won’t play you might have to think about getting a new one. Remember, fixing your Xbox if your Xbox keeps freezing is as easy as fixing a scratched CD.

360 Ring of Death Fix

December 5th, 2009 by Aaron

I want to tell you about a quick and easy Xbox 360 ring of death fix that might help you get more life out of your Xbox. If your Xbox keeps freezing, this might help it. If you have 3 red lights on your Xbox this might buy you some more time until you can uncover the real problem with your Xbox 360.

If you want to know how to fix the red ring of death – I love that term, red ring of death, this could help you out. I remember back about 6 months ago I kept asking why my Xbox keeps freezing. It would do it like every second or third time that I would power my Xbox on. It was annoying the hell out of me. So I figured out this 360 ring of death fix that might help you too.

Most Xbox 360 problems have to do with heat. The unit is so small and compact and that Xbox hard drive spins around like a devil that the unit gets really hot really quickly.

So try the following if you get the Xbox error e74. It might help. If the Xbox freezes the first thing you want to do is to shut it off. You’ll probably notice that it is extremely hot. The Xbox too hot could be causing the problem. So give it like 5 minutes to chill and cool down.

Also make sure that your Xbox is not sitting on carpet. Especially shaggy carpet, but practically any carpet is no good for an Xbox 360. You want there to be lots of space around your Xbox to keep it cool. I don’t know why, but the 360 ring of death fix seems to rely on air and temperature. The Xbox, as much as I love mine, just gets too hot and that can be why your Xbox keeps freezing.

You could start off with 2 red rings Xbox 360 or even just one like happened with mine.

So after you’ve checked that the Xbox has cooled down after a couple of minutes, and after you’ve made sure that it isn’t on any carpet. Carpet will just act as like a nice warm blanket for your Xbox, making it hotter and hotter. So put your Xbox on a cabinet or some other firm surface.

Now what you’ll want to do for the 360 ring of death fix is to make sure that your Xbox is standing up tall. Stand it up vertically if you can rather than horizontal. This will help more air flow around it. We are trying to keep it cool.

Now the last part to fix ring of death is to have a fan blowing on your Xbox. Bring a fan into the room where you use the Xbox and point it at the Xbox 360. Turn it on and let it blow for a minute or so. Now turn your Xbox on, this should complete the 360 ring of death fix. Your Xbox should now be playable without having a red flashing Xbox 360.

If this 360 ring of death fix doesn’t work, there could be other problems with your Xbox. It can be still be fixed but we’ll have to open her up to check it out.

But try this first as this 360 ring of death fix bought me about 3 months of play time before I had to operate. We’ll get to that next.

If your Xbox keeps freezing then welcome to the club. That’s exactly what happened to me and it was frustrating as hell. I don’t know why it exactly my Xbox keeps freezing happened, but I got the 3 red lights and that was it. My Xbox freezes and I can’t play Halo anymore.

I didn’t know what to do. I was desperate. I wanted it fixed but couldn’t figure out what was wrong. It wasn’t like it was smoking or melting, I just kept getting red flashing Xbox 360 like some sort of demented demon. My friends who have Wiis and Playstations thought this was hilarious. But I wasn’t about to go over to the dark side. I love my Xbox 360 and wanted it back in tip top shape so I could continue to play Halo 3. Is that too much to ask? I didn’t think so.
